This past week at the Houston Press awards ceremony, our label Mia Kat Empire was awarded “Best Houston Label”. To celebrate and show their appreciation, MKE will be having a band showcase at Cactus Music on Sept. 23rd from 1-5pm. It’s free to check out and there will also be FREE St. Arnolds beer!!! Come thirsty.

We are already playing at this years Cornerstone Music Festival, but we need your vote to help us perform on the New Band Showcase. This is a great Showcase that is put on every year at the festival. Here is what we need you to do.

2.) Register yourself on the website. You can’t vote until you register.
3.) Click on the New Band Showcase 2008
4.) Find us (near the bottom) and vote. You only have to vote once because that’s all they allow you (which is nice).
5.) Lastly, and most important. Vote on any other e-mail accounts you might have. Tell your mom, dad, wife, sons, daughters, grandparents, co-workers, friends that you need them to vote for us.
